Sound palette:
Rhodes • deep bass • brushed drums • clean guitar • close-mic vocal
Three entry points that capture the project’s mood — cinematic, intimate, and quietly addictive.
Les Flammes de Minuit lives where slow, cinematic grooves meet emotional modern soul. The vocal stays close to the mic—soft, honest, often confessional—while Rhodes, deep bass, brushed drums, and clean guitar sketch a world of late-night apartments and quiet city streets. Instead of chasing big, extroverted hooks, the songs linger on small details: a coffee gone cold, an unread message, the moment you realise a pattern needs to break.
The project first took shape through songs written for the animated series Detective Pierre: Animated Mysteries (DetectivePierre.com). Over time, Les Flammes de Minuit carved out its own path. Stepping Stone stands fully on its own—none of its tracks appear in the show—while many early Pierre-universe pieces remain available on the project’s YouTube channel.
Les Flammes de Minuit is a solo studio project blending cinematic trip-hop, downtempo soul, and contemporary R&B. Built around intimate female vocals and AI-assisted production, the project translates late-night observation into slow-burn songs about love, doubt, and subtle emotional turning points. The debut album Stepping Stone is a standalone release.
